NODA Review by Colin Magenty

With a house full of cubs who, by their participation, would seem to have enjoyed the experience, who am I to say otherwise but I did feel that this year it did not gel the way it has done before.
Like all societies the talented children grow up, as they do, and exams and college take away the talented just as they are flowering, but
it makes way for others. Certainly that was the case this time, with the number of dancers now available.
We had a strong performance from Allan Mayer as Abanazar and Ben Mayo played Inspector Minging, with a police force of little ones including Emma Boyle, Keira McFayden and Lucy Gardiner.
Rachel Brennan had a good shot at the title role of Aladdin and the talented Melissa Taylor took the role of the Princess.
David Hodson Maughan and Barry Callander played Wishee and Widow Twankey with their usual aplomb. Lesley Nicholson was a very attractive Slave of the Ring ,Tony Vanderweele played the Genie and the Emperor and Empress were played by Mike Taylor and Sandra Dickinson. A good night's entertainment as the audience made quite clear at the end. My thanks to all concerned.
