CINDERELLA
Directed by Bobbie Day
NODA REVIEW
This was an excellent pantomime, full of good costumes,
scenery, dancing, two of the best Ugly Sisters I have seen,
(Dean Taylor and David Baistow) and a Buttons, (Sean
Duxbury), who could have performed professionally.
It is difficult to review a good show as one tends to run
out of superlatives but this show was very, very well
produced indeed. Baron and Baroness Hardup (Alan Pearson
and Siobhan Edge) were excellent together. There was good
thigh slapping from Wyn Tootell. Cinderella (Susan
Morrison) and Prince Charming (Beckie Bouskill) - both
parts taken at short notice - were very good and I must not
forget the two little mice, Gus and Jack!
Ammer and Tongs, the baddies, were well played by Andrew
Kidd and John Johnston and there was a nice easy
performance from Joan Adaway as the Fairy Godmother.
The costumes were lovely and the dancing very good. Very
well done.
