VISITING HOUR
Director: Mike Tunstall
This entertaining play by Richard Harris is in fact six one
act plays. And the first is for me the best, with a super
punch line. The performance I saw would have done well in
any one-act festival, it was hilarious and both John
Johnson and Sandra Dickinson were in top form as Eric and
Helen.
This was followed by a monologue in the "Talking Heads"
mode, delivered by Renee Clitheroe this attempt to emulate
Harris does not have the same content but has a good
ending.
"Waiting" was a solo performance well handled by Edward
Baldwin but I did enjoy the final act titled "Magic".
This was their first night and I'm sure many laughs will
follow as the week progresses.
